Alice Kellen is my favourite national author and I've always loved her stories. I've been wanting to read 'Nosotros en la Luna' for quite a while, but I never actually got to do it until this month, finally, –I think that this will be the year that my TBR pile will go down at least half of what it is now, hopefully...
When I started to read this book I had the impression that it was going to be a book that I would instantly love (the first day, at least), the second day that I continued reading I had another impression, that I had "outgrown" this genre and that I didn't love it as much, but while I was reading this book it slowly began to disappear

It's taken me quite a while to decide how many stars out of five I wanted to give this book because I'm not entirely sure what it made me feel. On one hand, I really like the way the story was going, heartbreaking but at the same time necessary, on the other hand, I don't feel like I connected with this characters like I usually do with Alice Kellen's stories.
The fact that you meet someone and you connect with them instantly, without even realising that this person is going to change you forever is something I really like to think about it. These two characters Rhys and Ginger are polar opposites, and that's the amazing thing about their story.
During the time they both continue sending each other emails, they've already started to grow in different directions, and in the end, Ginger knew that she couldn't help Rhys if he didn't understand that he needed to change.
Overall I really enjoyed their story, mostly the last 20 chapters or so of the book.
My rating: 4.75 / 5 ★
