book review | Rage and Ruin, by Jennifer L. Armentrout

I've been putting off, reading this book –Rage and Ruin, by @jennifer_l_armentrout,– for a while, don't ask me why because I have no clue... But let me tell you this: it's been on every single TBR since last year... so yeah, It's quite odd that I didn't end up picking it up.

Spoiler from the previous book Alert ahead!!

There were a lot of things that I did remember, and there were other tiny details that I forgot..., like that Trinity has poor eyesight, or that she killed Misha.

Overall I enjoyed the book a lot; I laughed and rememberd how sarcastic Roth is Cayman's sense of humor.

Through the story we can see that Zayne keeps quite a few things from Trinity, and that all they can do is fight the feelings they have for each other, after all Protectors and Trueborns can't be together, but which could be the consequences?

Looking for the Harbinger was definitely something I enjoyed, it's so mysterious, and overall thrilling! Looking for something that can kill demons and wardens equally... and someone who had a connection with Misha.

They also find a lot of "zombies" gathering around Layla and Stacey's highschool which is quite strange since they usually don't gather. Aaaand we finally discover who is, in fact the one that's behind everything. All my theories were shot down the moment we discover who is the Harbinger and his motives which are quite reasonable but at the same time stupid.

Oh and Peanut! I wonder if he has any major role, or if he is just another ghost.

And THAT END WAS SIMPLY EPIC AND I NEED THE NEXT BOOK ASAP! Because something big happens and OMG! So happy that the next book will be published this year :)
My rating: 5 / 5 ★
